Conflict, Part One (Demo)

Okay, so there's a bit of a story behind this:

For the past week, I've been thinking about making a progressive rock epic based on Summer Wars (the movie with the King Kazma and the conservative Japanese morals) and have it be less song-structured than "Ten Thousand Promises" and "Live at Ken's Steak House." I took some cues from Van der Graaf Generator and wrote random parts while referencing others in order to create the song.

I recorded a demo, which totals to about 26 minutes. To me, that's too long. I was hoping for a 17-to-18-minute epic - like a truncated "Plague of Lighthouse Keepers" - but I guess I can work around that. For the sake of my computer and Bandcamp, I decided to not record the full song, but rather test out the first part before I segue into the portion of the song I call "Kung-Fu Rabbit."

So, here you go: nonsense based on a Japanese family film.

I just play VSTs and sing. Had to test out a guitar riff VST I got - and it's not that good.
